We have received very contradictory explanations for how parents were chosen.” Superintendent Christopher Dignam is using the educational search firm of Ray and Associates to solicit and screen candidates to replace Principal Tom Koulentes. Koulentes is leaving June 30 to become principal of Libertyville High School after spending 22 years as a teacher, bilingual program director, coach, assistant principal and principal at Highland Park High School. Dignam reported April 12 the search firm would be presenting a pool of semi-finalists to himself and Human Resources Director Thomas Krieger on April 14. The two administrators would be reviewing the candidates and conducting interviews before narrowing the field to two or three finalists, he said.
